The inspiration for Hope comes from a deeply personal memory. During my time as a volunteer in Cambodia, I helped build a school, but the experience that left the greatest impact on me was visiting the Mekong River, near the border of Cambodia and Vietnam. In this impoverished village, children began working at a very young age, rowing large passenger boats with their small, fragile bodies to support their families. Their access to education was extremely limited; they lacked both the resources and opportunities to attend school.Despite their harsh circumstances, these children carried a remarkable strength and resilience in their hearts.

In the center of the artwork, I built a little flower—a symbol of hope amidst adversity. Although I may not yet have the power to change the world, I hope to inspire others to lend a helping hand. Through this artwork, I aim to share their story and bring attention to their struggles, encouraging everyone to join in making a difference.
